This was taken at night with available light. The heron was fishing on the bay side of Sanibel Island near the lighthouse. As is their way, it was still most of the time and was probably irritated that I was disturbing its concentration so it moved. It walked much the way a chicken walks, thrusting its head forward and then catching up with it. This shot stretched over 13 seconds.
