This heron was fishing on the bay side of Sanibel Island near the lighthouse. As is their way, it was still most of the time and was probably irritated that I was disturbing its concentration so it moved. It walked much the way a chicken walks, thrusting its head forward and then catching up with it. This shot stretched over 13 seconds.
